مقدمه: شیوع نازایی در جهان در جوامع مختلف بین %30-5 متفاوت است. در ایران بیش از 2 میلیون زوج از این مشکل رنج میبرند. نازایی میتواند باعث افسردگی، اضطراب، دوری از اجتماع و مشکلات عملکرد جنسی شود.
هدف: این مطالعه توصیفی به بررسی وضعیت سلامت عمومی در زوج های نابارور پرداخته است.
مواد و روش ها: 150 زوج نابارور از بین زوجهای مراجعه کننده به مرکز تحقیقاتی درمانی ناباروری یزد در فاصله فروردین تا شهریور 1388 به طور اتفاقی انتخاب و مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. پرسشنامه GHQ-28 توسط محقق و از طریق مصاحبه چهره به چهره تکمیل شد. این پرسشنامه شامل 28 سوال است که در 4 بخش مطرح شدهاند. نتایج بر اساس نمره افراد از 84-0 بدست می آید. نتایج به دست آمده در نرم افزار SPSS و با روش های آماری Chi-square و t-test مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.
نتایج: نمره GHQ در تمام موارد و هم چنین نمره کلی در زنان بیشتر از مردان بود که نشاندهنده وضعیت عمومی سلامت بدتر در زنان است. رابطه معنادار آماری بین مدت زمان نازایی و وضعیت سلامت عمومی دیده نشد.
نتیجه گیری: این مطالعه نشان داد که نازایی اثرات معنیداری روی وضعیت سلامتی زوجهای نابارور به خصوص زنان نابارور دارد (0/001p=). این افراد در معرض علایم جسمانی (0/0001p=)، اختلال عملکرد اجتماعی (0/0001p=) و افسردگی شدید (0/0001p=) هستند. GHQ میتواند به افزایش وضعیت سلامتی در زوج های نابارور کمک کند.
