مقدمه: اختلالات عروق رحم (AVM) یک علت نادر ولی خطرناک خونریزی رحم است. مشکوک شدن به موقع و تشخیص دقیق این وضعیت در زمان مناسب اساسی میباشد. زیرا درمانهایی که معمولا برای علل دیگر خونریزی رحم به کار می روند می توانند در AVM منجر به خونریزی وسیع شوند.
مورد: در اینجا یک مورد AVM شرح داده میشود. یک زن 32 ساله با خونریزی غیرطبیعی واژن بعد از سقط مراجعه نمود. تشخیص AVM بر اساس سونوگرافی رنگی داپلر گذاشته شد و به وسیله آنژیوگرافی لگنی تایید گردید. آمبولیزاسیون شریانهای رحمی دو طرفه به طور موفقیت آمیزی انجام شد.
نتیجهگیری: AVM در بیماران با خونریزی غیرطبیعی واژن و سابقه جراحی سزارین، سقط یا D&C و موارد مشابه باید در نظر گرفته شود. هرچند آنژیوگرافی روش تشخیصی استاندارد طلایی است ولی سونوگرافی داپلر نیز به عنوان یک تکنیک غیرتهاجمی می تواند کمک کننده باشد. درمان مناسب و بی خطر آمبولیزاسیون به وسیله کاتتر جهت شریانهای رحمی برای این بیماران پیشنهاد می گردد.
