en بررسی نقش مکانیسم های دفاعی بر سازگاری زناشویی زوج های نابارور بر اساس علت ناباروری: یک مطالعه مقطعی Investigating the role of defense mechanisms on marital adjustment in infertile couples based on the cause of infertility: A cross-sectional study Assisted Reproductive Technologies Original Article Original Article <div style="text-align: justify;">مقدمه: ناباروری بر سازگاری فردی و زوجین تأثیر میگذارد. مکانیسم دفاعی و سازگاری زناشویی فرآیندهای ذهنی هستند که در زندگی زوجهای نابارور نقش اساسی دارند. هدف: این مطالعه با هدف بررسی نقش مکانیسمهای دفاعی بر سازگاری زناشویی در زوجهای نابارور بر اساس علت ناباروری انجام گردید. مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه مقطعی در پژوهشگاه رویان (مرکز ناباروری، تهران، ایران) بر روی 400 زوج نابارور انجام شده است. زوجهای شرکتکننده در این مطالعه بر اساس علت ناباروری (ناشناخته، زنانه، مردانه و هر دو) در چهار گروه مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. دادهها با استفاده از پرسشنامه دموگرافیک، مقیاس سازگاری دوگانه تجدیدنظر شده  Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scaleو پرسشنامه مکانیسمهای دفاعی Defense Styles Questionnaire جمع‌آوری شده است. نتایج: نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که میانگین نمره سازگاری زناشویی مردان بر اساس علت ناباروری (زنانه، مردانه و هر دو) نسبت به همسرانشان به طور  معنیداری بیشتر بود (به ترتیب 001/0 ≤ p، 001/0 ≤ p، 04/0 = p). اگرچه بین میانگین نمرات زنان، مردان و زوجین (زن و شوهر) در مکانیسم‌های دفاعی تفاوتی مشاهده نشد. اما چه سازگاری زناشویی با مکانیسم‌های دفاعی بالغ به طور معنیدار همبستگی مثبت و با مکانیسم‌های دفاعی نابالغ همبستگی منفی داشت (05/0 > p). نتیجه گیری: میانگین نمرات سازگاری زناشویی در مردان با توجه به علت ناباروری نسبت به همسرانشان در تمام گروهها بیشتر بود. بنابراین مشاوره زوجهای نابارور در زمینه سازگاری زناشویی و آموزش استفاده از مکانیسمهای دفاعی بالغ به ویژه در زنان توصیه میشود. کلمات کلیدی: مکانیسمهای دفاعی، ارتباط زناشویی، ناباروری.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background: Infertility affects individual’s and couples’ adjustment. The defense mechanism and marital adjustment are mental processes that play a key role in infertile couples’ life. Objective: This study aims to investigate the role of defense mechanisms on marital adjustment in infertile couples based on the cause of infertility. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 400 infertile couples at Royan Institute (A referral center for infertility, Tehran, Iran). Infertile couples were divided into 4 groups based on the cause of infertility (female, male, both, and unknown). Demographic questionnaire, revised dyadic adjustment scale, and defense styles questionnaire were used for data collection. Results: Results showed that the mean score of marital adjustment of men based on the cause of infertility (female, male, and both) was significantly higher in comparison with their wives (p = 0.04, p ≤ 0.001, p ≤ 0.001, respectively). However, no difference was observed between the mean score of women, men, and couples (women and husbands) in defense mechanisms. But marital adjustment has a significant positive correlation with mature defense mechanisms and a negative correlation with immature ones (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The mean score of marital adjustment is higher in men than in their wives in all groups. So, counseling infertile couples in the field of marital adjustment and training in the use of mature defense mechanisms is recommended especially in women.</div> مکانیسمهای دفاعی, ارتباط زناشویی, ناباروری.
