مقدمه: کلومیفن سیترات (CC) اولین دارویی است که جهت القای تخمکگذاری در بیماران دارای سندرم پلیکیستیک (PCOS) استفاده میشود. با این حال، اختلاف برجستهای بین تخمکگذاری و نرخ حاملگی به دست آمده وجود دارد که میتواند به دلیل اثرات ناخوشایند CC بر مخاط سرویکس و اندومتر باشد.
هدف: هدف این مطالعه ارزیابی ایزوسورباید مونونیترات (ISMN) به عنوان گیرنده نیتریک اکساید (NO) بر تخمکگذاری و نرخ حاملگی در خانمهای دارای PCOS و فاقد تخمکگذاری تحت درمان با CC بود.
مواد و روشها: نود بیمار دارای PCOS به صورت تصادفی به سه گروه تقسیم شدند. بیماران در گروه A) 100 میلیگرم CC از روز پنجم سیکل به مدت پنج روز دریافت کردند. بیماران در گروه B و C علاوه بر CC به ترتیب 10 میلیگرم و 20 میلیگرم ISMN از طریق واژن تا روز تخمکگذاری دریافت کردند.
نتایج: یک افزایش معنیدار در تخمکگذاری و نرخ لقاح در بیماران تحت درمان با CC+ISMN در مقایسه با بیمارانی که فقط CC دریافت کرده بودند وجود داشت (001/0˂p).
نتیجه گیری: به نظر میرسد که استفاده هم زمان از NO و CC، در مقایسه با CCبه تنهایی، تخمکگذاری و نرخ لقاح را در بیماران دارای PCOS بدون افزایش معنیدار در عوارض جانبی بهبود میبخشد.
